Impact Core program is for the goalie that’s looking for a program to work on building a Core foundation in their game. We offer this program at four different locations, Minnetonka (PAC), Buffalo, and Monticello. This is available for Boy’s (HS, BTM, PW, SQ, 4th year Mite) and Girls (HS, U14, U12, U10).
Goalies that attend an intense Core session will receive goalie instruction for a full hour. Our focus is your game and how to help achieve your goals.
We will start with effective movement, save selection, learning when and how to be effective at playing the puck and the intangibles of the position. We want our goalies to fail, without failure there isn’t success.
Every day you will be challenged to work hard, stay focused and compete for pucks. Goalies need to be athletes and were not in the game to limit their abilities. We want to bring out their best at all times.
With this program you will be able to engage in small games to play against other goalies and players of your age.
A goal setting work sheet will be sent out to every goalie that attends the Core Program. At the end of your training program you will be re-evaluated and to see if you have met your summer training needs.
Dry land is included in every Impact Core program. It’s essential that a goalie focuses on the off-ice game to make sure they can pass up the competition.
